I'm happy that he won. It was expected, though. But the fact that Sean Penn won over Mickey Rourke is just sad.

It's great that Heath Ledger won, but I couldn't disagree more with the remarks about Sean Penn. Both he and Rourke gave phenomenal performances and you couldn't have gone wrong with either of them. Did you guys even see Milk?

Regardless if he died or not he put on a phenomenal performance and I would honestly say he was deserving of an Oscar.

Actually, it is, in my opinion, one of last years very best (the best being The Wrestler). So yeah, the Academy got it right in that category.

Mickey Rourke was robbed. Sean Penn for Milk, give me a fucking break.<!--QuoteEnd
<!--QuoteEEndSo you've seen the movie Chris? Please respond before you have a chance to download it and watch it tonight at work <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"\" border=\"0\" alt=\"laugh.gif\" /> I couldn't pick a definite favorite as I thought both were fantastic, but I may have been leaning more towards Rourke. I love his brutal honestly and I tend to pull more for the underdog. I also wanted to hear what kind of a speech he would have given at the Oscars. I figured if he told Barbara Walters that (about winning an Oscar--paraphrased) "I can't eat it, I can't f**k it and it won't get me into heaven", then he certainly wouldn't hold back standing at the podium giving his speech. I think he'll get another shot.

it was rumored that if Mickey was going to have anything to do with the upcoming WrestleMania then it would've hurt his chances real bad for winning an oscar . that is prob. a good reason he only made 1 comment about the ppv but the WWE kept bringing his name up week after week . some sorces are thinking that Mickey was going to keep it hush hush until he found out if he was gonna win or not and then do the ppv . mike,
