The Post Office Is Killing Me!

I had a super cool F13th item on the way to me 2 weeks ago Priority insured.....missing. Then last week I bought the cool Sleepaway Camp box set on here and it too had not shown up yet. I have had similar problems with shipments I have sent/received lately. The boxes that come in take forever and look half eaten, and the oens I have sent have had people complaining about their time of arival and coniditon once there. Makes it difficult to conudct respectable business online when the post office doesn't deliver/mauls shipments.

I have had no trouble yet with the delivery or sending of items, however the buttholes that work at the post office by my house are very unpleasent.

Man it was such a hassle for me to get my Fett blaster from Travsall. Somehow the beloved folks in customs had rubbed off the address and sent it to the wrong house which thankfully didn't exist. So they said they were sending it back to Canada. They gave me less than a day to claim it. So I kept checking on the customs number and what do they do? They don't send it back, they send it to a house in another city in my state...I'm thinking why would you even do that? They knew I was on the lookout for it and had my number but instead tried to deliver it elsewhere. After two months of hassle, I finally got it and as Larry says it looked like a gorilla had sat on it.

For everyone who has gotten a box that looks like it has been thrown in a blender it's do to the fact that underpaid overworked teenagers are packing the tracker trailers that your packages go in. At least that is the case at UPS where I'm a driver. That sucks! I think from now on I'm just going to send my packages overnight express in the States. I know people aren't sometimes willing to pay extra high shipping costs, but for the buyers and my safety it sounds like the best route to take now. I'm a little worried, cause I just sent one of my busts out for a repaint and used parcel post instead of priority and they still havent gotten it after 10 days when I was told it would take a week to get there. My better half was telling me to use priority, guess I should've listened to her instead of saving an extra $10. Lesson learned!

Yep, I can agree with this for sure. It's funny to becasue Priority mail is suppose to be 2-3days, the last Priority package I sent out took 8 business days! I sent another package out Parcel at the same time which was 200 miles further than the Priority package, and it was delivered in 4 days...........?????It's all going down the tubes.......Fast <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/rolleyes.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"\" border=\"0\" alt=\"rolleyes.gif\" />

Hummm, I’ve lost all faith in the United States Postal Service. This past year for me I was taken for so many rides by them…Just realize that if you insure the package, it doesn’t necessarily mean you’ll get the package or the money. ($400 plus on RARE AS HELL Halloween II newspaper still set and 9 slides…Mind you the seller just sent an empty envelope anyway! But it was insured and the seller got the money and never sent what I paid for to me so I’m out $400 plus and he got $800 plus those stills and slides.)If the package arrives damaged, realize all US Postal has to say is that a 3rd party transported the package and the damage happened then, not in their care and US Postal is off the hook.

Sounds familiar! I had a package sent overseas that usually takes 4 - 7 days. It has not showed up in 6 weeks. First when I filed a claim at my post office I was notivied that the package was stuck at the customs office and was then tried to deliver. Next day it arrived the owner. The same person told me he has also sent two packages out that have not arrived for some time. ... And it is not even holiday season.Mario
