Hey everyone, here is my latest piece, ‘Karloffenstein, he’s a 1:1 translucent resin bust. This is my original take on the Frankenstein monster, I thought about it for a long time, there were a lot of signature things that I wanted to include in my version, like the brow and his dimple in the cheek, and I also knew that I wanted to incorporate Karloff's likeness. To make sure that the likeness was accurate I started by doing a full sculpture of Karloff, then once I was satisfied with it, I added & altered it to my design.I plan on doing my Interpretation of some of the other classic monsters as well in the future, just wait until you see what I have planed for his bride. Please let me know what you all think.<img src=\"http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v111/dreggs88/Karloffenstein/One/karloff9.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" /><img src=\"http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v111/dreggs88/Karloffenstein/One/karloff.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" /><img src=\"http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v111/dreggs88/Karloffenstein/One/karloff2.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" /><img src=\"http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v111/dreggs88/Karloffenstein/One/karloff5.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" /><img src=\"http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v111/dreggs88/Karloffenstein/One/karloff8.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" />Thanks, Monte

The is an awesome original take on Frankenstein. I like that you used Karloff's likeness for your own take on the monster. Very nice work!

Love the new spin on a classic character. That's sick.

WOW Monte, nothing short of amazing. This has to be one of, if not my favorite origional take on the Frankenstein monster that I have seen. <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/thumbsup.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"\" border=\"0\" alt=\"thumbsup.gif\" />Jonny

Stunning piece Monte! If you did these in latex I'd most likely be interested.I still prefer the dead green/gray paint scheme on all Frankies.Very nice!
