Is there a sure fire way to ship a glove? I think I've heard stories in the past of the PO claiming it was a weapon.I'm not a maker, just need to send a glove to a friend. Packing ideas would be great to.Thanks for your time.

Just make sure it's packed so the blades don't cut through and pop out of the box.Should be good to go otherwise (assuming your sending it within the states)Jonny

if you have any foam around the house from like an old box that a tv or dvd player came in you could always put those over the blades or wrap the glove up super good in bubble wrap .mike,

I sold an old glove long time ago and I wrapped the entire glove carefully... I placed the glove in a plastic bag that I wrapped after.... So the glove couldn't move at all and the blades couldn't pierce anything. Also make sure you declare it as a "prop" of "costume accessories" ... It will make less confusion if you ship over the borders ...

Having shipped a couple of hundred of gloves, I have never had a problem with my gloves poking through the box. I completely wrap the entire thing in bubblewrap and pad the bottom of the box with scrap paper and place the glove blades down into the box (I use the USPS Priority Mail Shoebox for shipping). I then place more scrap paper on the side of the glove so it doesn't bounce around.
