Lyoto Machida Vs Shogun Rua

Everyone with a good set of eyes knows that Shogun won that fight. The whole "In order to be the champ you have to beat the champ" statement is bullSheep. It's a total copout. So does that mean a champion can never be dethroned via decision? Why even bother having judges then. It's a load of crap.

I thought Shogun won it, apparently the UFC doesn't have any say over judges or refs either. Dana White among the fighters at the post fight conference seemed to all agree that Shogun won as well.Here is a link to the post fight conference if any one wanted to see it. Dana wants to put on a rematch and both fighters agreed. This isn't the first time Rua was robbed, the same thing happened when he fought Rampage in Pride. Feel bad for the dude.

They're already booking a rematch...should be interesting cause you know both fighters will indeed have a different game plan going into this next fight. Shogun technically won, however in all honesty it was close and could've gone either way.On other news, Kevin Iole just reported that Brock Lesnar is out of UFC 106. Dana White got the word today from Lesnar that he had been suffering from a severe flu for three-and-a-half weeks and hadn't been able to shake it, and at this point decided he didn't have enough time left to get in top shape for the fight. Nothing more has been said but the plan right now is for the fight to take place on Jan. 2 in Las Vegas.

Well im sure ill try to watch Fight 2 at a bar, im sure it will be a more enjoyable fight, and that sucks about lesnar, i was really looking forward to seeing him lay those hammers down!!!
