Thought some of you might find this to be interesting.. What kind of chaos would there be if everyone had advance confirmed notice that it was their last day/week/month/year on Earth?Personally, I'm going to go on about my business as usual, if something happens, then "oops too late to worry now", if not, then I'm not stuck at a tropical resort somewhere, wishing I hadn't spent the last of my money on hookers.

I certainly hope it doesn't happen but what i will say is there is NO SUCH THING AS CONICIDENCE. A coincidence is for the simple minded.I'm not a DOOMER, my cousin is and he's outta his f-in mind...but the funny thing is humans think they are the most important things in the world. OUr measley lives mean Sheep to Mother Earth.Since the beginning of time there have been multiple extinction level events that changed the face of the earth and the planet over and over again. It's not outta the question..but highly unlikely we'll see something inour lifetime.It's sad to say the US and world as we know it have gotten so far out of balance, an event like this could wipe the slate clean, and make the wrongs right ... Universally speaking.once again, i hope to christ it doesn't happen, i want to meet my childrem, grandchildren...but it's certainly not out of the question.

Because if the world is ending, you risk nothing, right?<!--QuoteEnd</div><!--QuoteEEndI'm not a Mayan, I don't believe it, and I'm not a history major - but the reason that they have been given some credability is that so far, they have (fairly) accurately predicted other events such as wars and pole shifts (when the earth rotates on its lattitutde rather than longitude so the poles move). I watched a documentary on this the other day and they took core samples from Australia and Alaska and proved that at some point in the past, they had actually been where the arctic & antarctic are now. Around 5,000 years ago. And it happened quick - like overnight. I don't need to tell you what would happen if New york suddenly became thenorth pole and covered in huge deep ice sheets!I'm not a geologist either so I can't personaly verify any of this but the fact that pole shifts have happened before is scientific fact (as close as we can get with our primitive earthling brains anyway)

The movie expanded that idea. Now, as for the world ending, if it does, i just hope they dont give the few of us with billions to spare special access to hidden methods of survival...But they have been building bunkers and facilities underground for quite some time, so we already know that some of us will be safe, others will not..I just want a fair chance to fight for my life, dammit!

No, it is all BS and a marketing scheme to make money of the movie and millions of other products. I am sure eventually they will get it right in a few billion years. Actually I doubt it, they will still be way off.
