we finally got around to carving our pumpkins last night and had a great time. they gutted and daddy carved. not bad. jenna my 4 year old wanted Aeriel from The Little Mermaid and Lexi the two year old wanted Spongebob. i did a free hand H6. the thing was huge and almost broke my back carrying it out of the pumpkin patch. LOL. anyhow, just wanted to share.

post your own pumpkins here if you like.

I was just telling someone the other day, when I was a child here in the UK,pumpkins just weren\'t available. We used to have to use a vegetable called a Turnip (don\'t know if they\'re grown in the US) but they were very hard to scoop out and carve ,in fact something like 4 hours being allowed to use only a small knife. I can still remember the smell of canlewax mixed with scorched Turnip, very happy memories.
