Figure Painting

I\'ve done some simple customizing, but nothing to the extent of repainting major areas. More like, centering the pupils and other odds and ends. The biggest thing I did was to punch the correct holes and reshape the nose on the first Movie Maniacs Jason and then gave it little vinyl straps that looked like leather. But no painting.

Almost all of my stuff there is major reworking, new parts I re sculpted, or drastically changed (Jack the Ripper has new legs I had to add on seperatly and blend, a new neck so he could look forward, and a new paint job. The T-1000 I took the head from the exploded torso, cut it in half, sculpted the melding split, a new neck, and a repaint. The T-800 is a new arm, with parts from 3 figures, T-800, endo and another for fill in, different head with new sculpted neck, and a repaint. Vlad is made from 3 or 4 figures and repainted. The Alien Queen comes with a closed mouth solid plastic, I cut all that out, repositioned the jaw, cut the teeth out, filled in the open area, and touched up the paint) Lot of fun to do, I like to take figures as a good starting point, and then take them to how I\'d really want em!

I\'ve done a few Jason movie maniac repaints. I use to paint all my Marvel figures when I was younger. I was pretty good at it and it was always fun to have the figures be different from everyone elses. Makes them feel like they are truly "yours."

If my hand were steady enough, I might give it a try. But working with something so small...I\'d be too nervous. I\'m one of those people that can never color inside the lines, lol.
