Went to the midnight showing, and Im gonna be honest with you....I wasnt impressed...I will keep my opnions for a later date to avoid any spoilers, but I honestly thought the first 2 were better

I agree not that great a film from the past ones. I felt it was very soft and watered down. Yea man, I gotta say the special effects were absolutely mindblowing, and the very first time we see Flint rise out of the sand, I was in aweI just felt they did not go into detail quite as much as they should have, or explain things clear enough. It was like everything happened all at once and was all WAY to convinientThey could have done so much with this film...I had high hopes

Honestly I dont have high expectations anyways... I mean, I really didnt like Spiderman 2, the first was much better, Doc Oc isnt the greatest villan.. However venom is awsome, look forward to seeing him in the last 30 minutes lol

just got back from watching it, the first 2 movies were better and they didnt use Venom enough for me...cool movie just not up to my expectations...atleast i watched in iMax <img src=\"http://forums.NIGHTOWLpro.com/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/confused.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\":confused:\" border=\"0\" alt=\"confused.gif\" />

yep, I was also dissapointed that they didnt have a bigger role for Venom...that is basically what the big hype was all aboutand another thing that kept pissing me off, is taht whenver theyd show a good closeup of Venoms face, the mask would morf away and youd see Eric Foreman with vampire teeth <img src=\"http://forums.NIGHTOWLpro.com/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/mad.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\":angry:\" border=\"0\" alt=\"mad.gif\" /> I did hear, though, that Venom was kept on the downlow because the next film also includes him although he will be way more buff then in the 3rd film...cause you gotta remember, the explosion may have destroyed Venom, but Doctor Conors still had a sample he had been studyingI bet with him being a scientist he will clone the sample and eventually have enough for another suit

Doc oct isn\'t a good villain? Ya OK....Venom is great but guys, he didn\'t come onto the scene until like 1988. That\'s not that long ago. Other villians like Sandman were around in 1963. Venom is great and it would be cool to see more of him though. I haven\'t seen it yet. I\'m sure i\'ll enjoy it. I wish the movie was like 8 hours so they could make it completely in depth like a comic. That would be sweet! I\'d sit through it easily

i think 4 will prolly be better.it sucks, i had high hopes for this too...i enjoy these flick immensely and it saddens me to hear it didnt flow like the others.dangit.

I definetly like how they take villains who arent too popular, because it gives them a chance to shine....(such as Scarecrow in Batman Begins and now Sandman) Its just that this film just didnt explain everything clear enough for me....its as if they just took all the concepts and all the villains, and just expected you to know who everyone was and what all was going onI guess thats cool for average movie go'ers, but being a fan of the comics and the series, it didnt match up to par imo. I wanted more out of this. I wanted things to be more in detail such as the comics were.and btw, did anyone else see Venoms tongue?!?!?
