guys is there really a clean pt3 in the movie cause i was watching it last night and from the moment shelly jumps out at vera you cant really tell but right after that when he sits down you can clearly see the scuff mark on the forhead so it seems to be weathered from the start not as weathered as the barn sceen but there does not seem to be a clean one unless its clean when he first jumps out but!!! what do you guys think

I dont think anyone has ever claimed there was a perfectly clean mask in the film. You can just clearly tell the scuff on the nose grows larger throughout the film. (and obvious other wear occurs throughout filming)Just something about the look of a clean part 3 is special to many collectors. Its really the only hockey mask that is perfectly clean with no damage. There for, it feels like a real hockey mask and feels very authentic/vintage.

Yeah, puckface is right. Even in the close-up shot of the closet scene, you can already see the many fine cracks in the paint and scuffing as well.

personally the " clean " mask is my least fav. out of any of them . what i've wondered is did all that marks on the mask happen just from the action on set or was it from just laying around somewhere until part 4 came around like the original myers mask and how bad it looked in H2 ? mike,

The masks did crackle horribly (in good way haha) which isn't scene on screen, but it's there. There isn't one clean mask in any of the films. The cleanest is probably the dirty ol' sack in part 2...
