Way Off Topic

I got this boat from a friend for free because he does not have the time to mess with it. The first few pix are at his house and then at mine. Anyway I am starting to restore/change a bit this 18 ft. 1968 Duratech Comanche. As you can see it is a mess. I have cleaned it out and have taken the top off,so I will not have a cabin. I want to have the driver seat at the front winshield area and have all the back room for more seats and coolers and whatever. I think we are going to paint the boat white with a ruby red top.Anyway gonna take some time to get it the way I want and just wondered if anyone on here has ever restored a boat? It's a Duratech Galaxy,same boat, just no cabin. And a different color.

My father restored an old Starcraft... he put as much into it that it was worth completely restored which put him in the hole. Good luck on it, just try not and go too deep- they are really hard to profit from unless you pretty much do everything yourself and get the supplies cheap.

I will be doing everything with the help of friends and family. And the boat is aluminum. So hopefully it wont get too crazy.
