I know this is way off topic but just something I thought I would share. My girlfriend and I have been together for a little over 17.5 years. We went to see Interview With a Vampire on our first date. Well, after all this time together she has saved the ticket stubs for every movie we\'ve seen together in a theatre; she keeps them in a couple of scrapbooks. This weekend we reached the 1000th movie, which was Men in Black 3. A while back before I bought a bigger TV, I said to myself that once we reached 1000 that I would just start watching movie at home and save the money. Ha! Easier said than done... it\'s just our thing we do together. I think I would miss the whole theatre experience!

Anyway, there is some useless information for you all

1000 movies that is impressive! You have some patience my man. I cant stand going to the movies between cell phones dumb kids and crazy prices. My wife and I had our basement finished and put in our own theater lol.

Here are my Ticket Stubs for the last 10 years, as I usually see 100 movies or more a year, and on the 3-D Movies I put a rubber band and the Ticket around the Glasses, and I always mark the Theater and what movie I saw and Rate the Movie on a Calendar for each year

    That\'s dedication Ed!!

I\'d like to know the grand total I\'ve spent at the theatre, including concessions

I agree man! We\'re so busy with work that we don\'t get to do a whole lot together during the week. My girl is a teacher so she is either marking or planning every night. We quite look forward to a movie come Friday evening. Obviously we don\'t get to talk, but sometimes I\'ll even still hold her hand cause I know she likes that.

I wonder what number 2000 will be?!
