My Wip's -- Pic Heavy

Hello all! My name is Josh and I\'m new to the forums -- I thought I\'d stop creepin\' and introduce myself. =D

I\'m getting back into sculpting after a few years of drawing/painting study. Here are my two latest creature busts -- both in NSP. I molded/casted in latex and I\'ll get some pictures of the final painted products soon.

Here are a couple other sculpts--The first one was done in water clay. Molding it was definitely a learning experience for undercuts and complicated forms-- I tried to mold the whole thing and it was an abysmal failure. LOL.. but live and learn.

I just bought some monster clay and I love the stuff-- I used it for the second bust "Berserker". This clay is a dream to mold! It popped right out. I\'m casting him up and I plan on painting him along with some of my other designs soon. He won\'t be toothless-joe for long-- I\'ll be giving him some sculpey chompers.

This is the latest--Just finished a maquette made of Super Sculpey regular mixed with firm..and she\'s about 11" tall. It took some trial and error but I\'m getting used to working with Sculpey again. The tentacle-feeler things are made with translucent Sculpey III. I\'ll be baking her soon! Wish me luck.
