I bet this is the 100th time someone has asked this, but how do I weather clothes? I have tried almost everything. I would like the weathering to be permenent and look good. Also where can I buy the materials?

    Thanks,
    Jason Fan Smile

There are a few different methods that work pretty well. First, is using a flat black, or dark brown spray paint, just mist the clothes with it, going a little bit heavier in some spots to give some contrast. You can also use black shoe polish, using a rag just smear it in all directions, that gives a pretty nice effect. Acrylic paints work pretty well too, using black, and browns water them down to a milk like consistancy and spray them on with any spray bottle. Then there\'s also the tried and true way, beat the hell out of them and rub them in the dirt! Only thing you might not know where to go to get is the acrylic paint, and any craft or hobby store (ie Michales) will have them in little bottles for a buck or two.

What I did with my Jason jacket.... what take a steak knife and just stab and it and rip it... wash it a hundred times and it will fray and really give it that worn in look... THEN start spary painting it... and then spary water on it and take a brush and rub it in... work perfectly!!!

Yeah, I usually use acrylics with a little water to make it thinner. It works much better for me with the paint is a little thinner.
