If you mean with the paint and weathering, that looks good as usual. The shape IMO looks a little off though. I've never seen a perfect part 8 mask shape anywhere though. I check your masks out on ebay a lot and love to see the new part 8 you list after one ends since the shape always seems different on each one you do. I see some that are more close than others and a few that I said, wow that's pretty close as maybe we'll ever see. One day I'm sure you may nail it. The one you have listed on horrorbid is close, if it were just a little more rounded, pushed wider out at the bottom muzzle area it would be pretty close to it IMO. Not sure if you care about the shape as much. Just wanted to give you some feedback there since you almost got it and I have almost an obsession with part 8 masks and mainly the shape. <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\":biggrin:\" border=\"0\" alt=\"biggrin.gif\" /> I'm just waiting for the day for someone to nail the part 8 shape.

Yeah, I have had a thing for the part 8 mask for awhile now too (my favorite out of the series). Tried a lot of different techniques and am slowly getting closer to nailing it. I redid the eye shape and I think that makes a big difference...

yea the eyes help out alot but just remember that the mask isn't actually too yellow . there's lots of shades in there and not only 1 . parts 6 and 8 are the hardest to match by far in the series . mike,

i believe the original part 8 mask was either a copy of a mask or a copy of a copy. the separation between the eyes on the mask is a bit wider than the other masks. that's why virtually no part 8 looks exactly like the movie.one thing to note though is the shape of the eyes. i've been working on mine trying to get it right but for some reason it's tough lol. i'm sure you probably know this since you make an hiney load of masks but i figured i'd put it out there lol.the arrows around the eyes point to sharper than normal corners. it's one of the things that really makes the part 8 a different mask.the top arrow just points out the rip in the vent hole. possibly cause by using a normal drill bit instead of a unibit.<img src=\"http://img684.imageshack.us/img684/4644/18001874.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" />

The color has been a battle. Some times in the movie it looks like a deeper yellow and other times it looks lighter, all in the lighting I suppose. The reason I stick with the deeper yellow is because I have had trouble matching the lighter yellow, and I believe the actual color is the deeper yellow. I'm sure most people have seen these pics of the screen used masks.
