Question For Experienced Prop Makers: Ventilation Requirements?

I have a question for anyone who's had prior experience in using the above-mentioned materials...How worried should I be about proper ventilation when using these three products in particular? (IE: open my windows, wear a face mask, use *outside* of the home, etc.) I'd like to go ahead and purchase all my molding materials from Smooth-On, but it's still randomly very cold here, so I would have to use all of those products indoors if I were to mold my sculpture sometime soon. Don' the containers tell you? They should. If they are harmful they have to tell you to ventilate the area. I guess the rule of thumb is, any chemical you should wear a mask and ventilate the room (open a window).

That what the MSDS is for. You don't want safety advice from a bulletin board because the 12 year olds come out of the woodwork with crap about how "ahh.. that's just to scare you.. Legally, every place that sells anything must provide MDSD sheets upon request- something to keep in mind whenever in doubt.I work in body art, and OSHA makes us keep MSDS sheets on EVERYTHING even soaps, saline, windex, cleaning supplies etc.

<b>Deadguy:</b> Best advice ever. heh.I, being a total idiot, didn't even know what an MSDS was...So I checked out the link and found everything I needed to know. <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"\" border=\"0\" alt=\"smile.gif\" />'Looks like I can perform the brush-on silicone portion of the mold in-house at any time as long as I have on a dust mask and open some windows. Everything else will probably need to be done out in the storage building on a warmer day. I'll have to think of some way to organize time for it later.Thanks again for the help,Ryan
