I need to know how to remove the rivets that are holding the straps on my hockey mask. They don\'t screw they are standard pop rivets. I really don\'t want to damage the mask.

get a dremel tool with a drill bit, then drill through the center. it should come loose.then pry it off ( not hard though) with a screw driver or plyers. or u can pull it off. didnt someone post this already?but yeah, try it.

just drill them out. You may have to hold one side with pliers.

awesome! be very careful if it is fiberglass or resin.

chances are if they are pop rivets, and they were put on the mask with the pop rivet tool (instead of tapping them by hand) the pressure of the pop rivet gun will put so much pressure on the mask material that the metal from the rivet will cut into the mask itself. If this is the case, no matter how hard you try to take the rivet off without damaging the mask you will still end up with a big hole in the mask.
