    also, to make the cracks in the tri, should i just scrape that out after with an exacto, or use tape and cover those very tiny areas? and should i paint the tri b4 or after i apply the wash to the hockey?

    I would spray the tris and yeah just scrape the scratches off
    I clearcoat the whole mask after the base coat, then tape of where the tris are spray the tris, remove the tape and then weather, then clearcoat then strap

    what do i spray the tris with? i dont have an airbrush. i have ben told i can paint on the acrylic paint with a very fine brush and then lightly sand away the minor brush stroaks...i need to see if my local hardware store has acrylic paint...

    you can do that but its more work
    spary paint works good
    my first couple masks I did I brushed the tris and it looks like crap

    Why weather before tris? If it were a real hockey mask, it would have been weaathred w/ the tris. Naw mean?
