Hey guys!
First of all, I\'d like to wish you all a Happy Holidays! Now that Christmas is over with, I hope you\'re all able to find the time to sit, relax with a glass of your favorite beverage... and spend some quality time with whomever you choose to hold close this time of year.

I seem to remember making a similar thread the past couple of years, so I figured I would keep it going and hopefully generate a fun thread. I actually have a 3 part question for you all; I would love it if you\'re able to simply provide a photographic response for each part, but respond any way you like.
Here goes…..

1. What was your favorite mask/bust related collection addition of 2012?
2. What one mask/bust are you most looking forward to adding to your collection in the coming year? This should be a project that has already been released or one that you know WILL BE released in 2013.
3. What is your ‘2013 dream piece’? The one collectible that, although seemingly unlikely, you simply could not resist adding to your shelf if it became available?

I look forward to seeing/reading your replies!
Here are my responses:

1. This bust will hold a top spot in my collection for quite a while.

2. Coming from Mr. Ryan Bean! An absolute classic character that deserves more attention. Oh.... I can\'t wait!!

3. I know a couple of versions have been done to date, but none that I feel nail the creature as I see it.

Ok this is an awesome thread. I remember alot of people responded last year so hopefully this will generate some response again.

2. This is one I would like to pick up. I have had it on my ebay watch list for over a year just so I am constantly reminded of it

3. This is the dream bust. I know it will never be made and would need to be commisioned, but hey maybe someday Jason huh Wink

Great idea for a thread, i don\'t collect really, one of my friends got a casey love plaque werewolf, now that is all kinds of awesome, very inspiring piece, very jealous!.
That funhouse piece is brilliant! as is the werewolf, that part four i think is the best version done so far of that makeup.
my favourite piece i\'ve done is the ghoulies fish monster, followed by the ET

1. Gotta agree on the HUD. This is easily my favorite score, not only of the year, but of my years of collecting.

2. As for a mask I\'d like to add, I\'d really like to get a Shat blank from Justin and have it done up by JC!

3. And a dream pieces for 2013? I\'d really like to see vacuum formed hockey masks cast from actual screen used/production masks. Similar to the Black/Red 7s. Having a mask cast directly from a screen used piece is very cool, but the biggest drawback is the inaccurate resin casting.

I would love the opportunity to cast a screen used mask (or production made mask) and do some negative vacuum form molding. That way, they could be vacuum formed like the original copies, yet feature perfectly accurate shaping and surface detail.

1. Jeremy Bohr\'s Castle Freak! I have wanted this mask for a while. I was beyond ecstatic when my wanted ad was answered over at the HMA.

2. I am very much looking forward to seeing Darb\'s Uber-Jason!

1. Probably the Bohr Bad Camper prototype I scored. Man, I love this thing. I also love F13 2009 though. I know I\'m largely alone in that LOL.

2. I still need and want a HUD. I think that speaks for itself lol. Besides, there are plenty of pics here already of that masterpiece. I still openly weep at my lack of HUD goodness lol.

3. Hmmm... I\'m a HUGE Deathdream fan. I\'d love for someone to tackle an Andy bust. I\'d buy that sucker in a heartbeat.

Also - I\'d kill for a screen accurate bust of Sally from Demons 2. To have this nightmarish face staring back at me in a dimly lit room would make me quite happy lol.

Edit: oh, and lastly - this kind of applies to both number 2 and 3, so it gets a special dedicated mention of its own. I love nothing (and I mean NOTHING) more than Giger\'s original Alien from 1979. It is the greatest monster or creature ever designed IMO and I remain OBSESSED with it to this day (my 1979 Alien collection is rather insane lol). All that said, I consider this new piece not only a must have, but a dream piece as well. It\'s "Bob the Alien" by Leigh of the RPF (currently still a WIP) and I. WILL. OWN. ONE. [Image: laugh.gif]

No problem man! You can keep track of Leigh\'s progress at the dedicated thread over at the RPF here: http://www.therpf.com/f62/bob-alien-giger-inspired-alien-121902/
