He's pretty busy trying to finish up the first run of His Unlucky Day busts, currently. He may take a few days to respond via email, but he will definitely get back to you. Just hang in there.

    Cheers,

    Ryan

He isn't online much, but when he does sign on, he's quick to respond. Like Ry said, just give it some time and you'll hear from him

I for one think that James sucks at responding. I am so tired of waiting on his slow hiney that I could care less about his stupid Jason bust, or his crap paint work anymore!

Seriously though, I am just catching my breath after finally finishing this first run. This whole project, every single step was done the hard way (I mean it took me a stinkin' year to finish only one run of 13).

With that said, I really want to thank everyone who got in on these for being so patient, and to those who are on a wait list for the second run, I am going to begin production very soon.

So here comes the bad news: I will not be painting on this second run. I know this is probably going to make a lot of people upset, but I have just burnt myself out on this first run with the paint work. I really put everything I had in the paint on the first run, and literally taught myself how to paint with this project, and after a year of painting and stressing over every last detail, I need a rest from painting. And believe me, I have struggled over how I can make a compromise in some way so that I can continue painting, but I just can't sum up the motivation at this time. I want to produce the best product possible, but without the desire, regardless of price, I cannot produce my best effort.

Perhaps after I take some much needed time away from painting, I may offer to paint the blanks I could not paint now in the future, but I cannot promise this.

you will get your mojo back james. like you said, you just need a break. i suggest to everyone who wants one of these, buy the blank, put it up on the shelf and wait. this thing is an incredible piece even as an unpainted blank. if you cant wait there are a bunch of artists out there who would love to paint James's masterpiece. either way its a win win on the HUD.

Thanks Mike, I appreciate the kind words, and encouragement.

Also, how awesome is it that I have my own tread named after me?!! When I got on, I was all like "Oh yeah, I just go here!". I think this should be a sticky thread, personally. Smile
