Very cool, Tom. Those old Mercury outboards are pretty tough. I have a 1981 13' Boston Whaler that I've been working on. If you haven't found any good boating sites already, check out the link below. Just thought I would update ya. We have the new wood cut and put down for rhe flooring. We also now have all the carpet cut and glued to the sides and the floor. As you see I took off the cabin like I said I was going to do, I think it will be better that way. Well, i thought i would update ya about my boat project. We have the flooring down, but the carpet is not tacked down yet. We have built all of the seating and the steering colum but we still need to cover them. And still need to do some wiring.
