That's some killer stuff right there. Thanks for sharing. <img src=\"http://forums.NIGHTOWLpro.com/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"
\" border=\"0\" alt=\"biggrin.gif\" />EDIT: The selling out thing that I said was actually a friend of mines opinion. lol I can't really speak for the earlier stages of Metallica because some of it came out before I was alive. But this guy...my co-worker/friend, WORSHIPS early Metallica. I mean, he went through the entire "headbanging" stage and went to many of their earlier concerts. Still has neck problems because of it to this day...lol. But anyway, "selling out" is what he calls it. I must say that their sound has changed ALOT over the years and some think for the better and some seem to think otherwise. I will say one thing though, a friend of mine teaches guitar and he says everyone wants to learn "master of puppets" and not "enter sandman". I admire earlier Metallica more so because I think to myself "wow, that guitar solo sure would be hard to play". They even attempted to "try" and go back to their old sound with the "St. anger" album and failed miserably in my opinion. I suppose the main reason people say that Metallica sold out is because with the "black" album they totally changed their sound....in fact many early metallica fans HATE the black album because it is when all of the large fan base came in. Many older metallica fans hated the new fans that started liking them with the "black" album lol Strange I know but it's true. Think of it this way....Friday the 13th part 1-8 are your favorites....then with JGTH you hate it....why? BECAUSE FREAKIN' JASON WAS HARDLY IN THE MOVIE!!! Same thing as with Metallica....when they changed their sound, they may have gained alot of newer fans but as well they lost older fans. Strange analogy I know but it makes sense if you think about it. It's all about preference. What someone else likes, you may not. Ya know? This is why many older Metallica fans say that they "sold out" with the black album. There's a certain quality of sound missing that was there before and is suddenly taken away.
